Electric motors are very cool machines that make a lot of things work. They can be found in cars, toys and even in things that we use at home, such as fans and refrigerators. But what makes one phase electric motors run?
Inside an electric motor are coils of wire called windings. As electricity is pumped through these windings, they generate a magnetic field.
